About Us

R Two Bits looks to give you our own version of that age old colloquialism meaning two bits, or 25 cents of a dollar. It reportedly originated from the Spanish pieces of eight, where eight pieces equaled a dollar. We prefer its popularization in the American West of the early 1800s, where coins were divided into 2, 4, 6, or 8 bits. Later, it became a slang term meaning to give one’s opinion.

Ryan and Tim Morgan will give you their two bits every week on whatever tweaks their imaginations. Whether it’s Sports, Autos, Travel, Reflections on personal growth or the state of the world, you will find fun and thoughtful articles centered around the action of living. Join us for an exciting journey!
